Eames era Danish constructed 42-1/2" diameter round dining table and four matching chairs (which fit snugly within the table... for economy of space). I think this set is from 1953 by Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle. The set has been in continual use through the years. The chairs and seats are still very strong and supple and all pieces are ready to use for another sixty years. As can be seen in photos 6, 11 and 12, there were a few mends through the years... quick mends; however, they kept the strength and "usability" of the chairs. The table top has a "bump" with roughness on the edge as pictured in photo 12. It also has light glass/cup rings here and there and shows regular "signs" of family use through the years... (for "purists" a very gentle sanding or minor treatment would clear this as these are on the surface). Over-all the entire set is very nice, all pieces are strong... and it does make a great statement. There is one leg of the table that spins but is tightly attached to the table and is well intact. The bottoms of all chairs with the exception of one have the Danish stamp and guarantee as well as up underneath the table. We live about two-and one-half to three hours from L.A. and San Francisco... so will accommodate buyers with regard to "pick-up" etc. If a buyer wants to arrange shipping, we will deliver to any shipper within
