This beautiful late nineteenth to early twentieth century quartersawn oak sideboard has beautiful carvings with wood applique, a large beveled mirror with candle stands and display shelves above as well as one running the width six inches above the lovely server surface, 3 drawers and open cabinet space behind decorative doors below. The wood grains on this pieces are gorgeous, the front edge has a slight serpentine front and the detailed applique and other carvings are spectacular and appear to be intact. This large sideboard stands 77 inches tall and measures 48 inches wide by 21 1/2 inches deep, front to back. It travels safely and easily in two parts. The base is 36 inches tall and includes two small drawers each 14 inches wide by 15 inches front to back by 4 inches deep and below them,another large drawer 43 inches wide by 15 inches front to back by 6 inches deep. Below the drawers behind the two lovely doors with the beautiful wood applique is open cabinet space 43 inches wide by 15 inches front to back and 14 inches tall. The top section of this sideboard measures 41 inches tall and 43 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches, front to back. The candle shelf is 6 1/2 inches above the top work surface and runs the width of the piece is 26 inches above this top server surface, which is also the top of the base.
